I am currently combining work as a professional violinist with freelance photography, specialising in landscape, architecture and portraiture. My landscape images are regularly published by leading calendar, postcard and greetings card companies as well as magazines such as Heritage, In Britain, Sussex Life, Surrey Life, Practical Photography, Photography Monthly, Outdoor Photography and Now.

In addition, I supply work to Pictures Colour Library, the National Trust Photographic Library, Travel Ink Photo and Features Library and English Heritage. Portrait clients include the Medici String Quartet and The English Mozart Ensemble.

In the autumn of 2000, I was offered a commission with Jarrold Publishing which resulted in my first book publication “Brighton and Sussex”, followed shortly afterwards by “Canterbury and Kent”.

I produced my third book in this series - “The Thames” in 2002 and my latest book “A Portrait of Cardiff” was published by Halsgrove in October 2004. I am currently working on another book for Halsgrove – “ Moods of Gower and The South Wales Coast” which is due out in Autumn 2007.

Until recently, I have used a Mamiya RZ ProII medium-format camera almost exclusively for landscape work with lenses ranging from 50mm to 180mm, along with a 75mm shift lens for architectural work. My choice of film is always Fujichrome Velvia for its superb grain and vibrant colours. This film is particularly suited to most of the markets that I supply. However, I am now using digital cameras on an increasing basis, especially for portraiture, and expect to switch completely to this medium in the near future.
